 I like when I have to travel for work, and especially when it comes to the good end. So, yesterday I was on the road to be in time and freshly mood in Novalja for my guests, better to say for guests of the Novalja Tourist board. On the road to Novalja The evening was nice, the road empty and I stopped just short to make a photo of the sunset at the Pag bridge. It would be a disgrace just to pass by.  And next morning here we are... Pauza u duhu renesansnog vremena donijela nam je razmišljanja o Marulovom boravku na Šolti foto: Gorana Galić Godina dana je protekla od kako je započela Godina Marka Marulića za koju sam osmislila interpretacijsko tematsku šetnju S Markom i Darkom po Splitu .  Završila je već i izložba o Juditi u Muzeju grada, završila je i izložba o renesansi u Muzeju hrvatskih arheoloških spomenika, no započeli su 32. Ja sam za ovu prigodu odlučila šetnju koju sam prije godinu dana osmislila u čast našem začinjavcu svečano održati u vidu prezentacije u prostorima Centra za kulturu i cjeloživotno učenje Zlatna vrata, a sve to u sklopu manifestacije Noć knjige . Lijepo je kada možemo u jednoj od povijesnih kuća oživjeti vrijeme o kojem pričamo. I have a special place in my home for souvenirs. They remind me of nice places where I have been or they are memories of people that I have met. Last weekend I have been in Zagreb at the Place2Go fair. The previous post is giving already my first impressions about the fair, but there is much more to keep and share.  Very good idea of the fair organiser was to place the VIA Vinkovci with Pannonia Gourmet at the entrance of the hall. Not just that you could taste their delicious products, but you could enjoy the company of people at the stand as well.  Once I met somewhere Mirjam Jukić , and after that I constantly met her again and again. That was a very good decision to come to Zagreb and visit the fair.  Damjana Domanovac and Halubajski zvončari from Viškovo After two years of pandemic and strict regulations, I could feel free breathing of visitors who enjoyed being there as I did.  For me it is always a pleasure and a privilege to meet people and to take all the material I need for my writing and guiding. Tanjur sa izložbe Vis-a-Vis-200 Na 8. Međunarodnom kongresu povijesnih gradova koji se održavao u Solinu odlutala sam svojim mislima u daleke uspomene. Cijela naša Jadranska obala je splet povijesnih gradova koji pletu svoju životnu nit već tisućljećima, no i kontinentalna Hrvatska obiluje također tako dubokom poviješću, a ovdje smo čak imali priliku čuti izlaganje o gradnji jedne žitne lađe . I da, tu sam odlutala mislima, ja stara jedriličarka, osoba koju je odredilo more našla se na kongresu povijesnih gradova, pa otplovila lađom.... Lađe, brodovi, barke, to je ono što nam život znači gdje god da jesmo. Izgleda tako kao da je lađa upravo nešto što određuje i čitavu našu malu zemlju! Sjetih se se odmah svih liburnskih brodova što sam ih vidjela, neke po muzejima, a neke još uvijek na dnu mora...
